On the bank of the mighty Mississippi is Gateway Motorsports Park (formerly Gateway Intl. Raceway). The multi-purpose racing facility boasts about the ¼ mile drag strip which will host the NHRA Full Throttle .Midwest Nationals.. The park also has a challenging 1.67 mile road course utilized by the Sports Car Club of America and a number of local, regional, and national racing / car clubs. The very unique 1.25 mile egg-shaped oval has, in the past, hosted NASCAR.s Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series. Gateway is the site for hundreds of various events throughout the season. The facility hosts everything from local drag racing, road racing, drifting, oval events, all the way up to nationally televised major events. In 2012 the track will be reborn, thanks to new ownership, that provides intense racing action to the thousands of fans from St. Louis and the surrounding areas.

Located less than five minutes from downtown St. Louis and in the shadow of the Gateway Arch is Gateway Motorsports Park. The multi-purpose facility is sitting at the intersection of Interstate 55 / 70 and IL Route 203 in Madison, Illinois.
